INTRODUCTION TO MY RATE CARD

As the demand for my photography services continues to grow, I understand the importance of transparency and efficiency in our collaboration. In response to numerous client requests for quotes, I am pleased to provide this Rate Card as a quick guide and starting point for my professional photography and creative fees. This streamlined approach aims to offer clarity and convenience, ensuring a smooth and informed process for both parties involved.

Everything outlined in this Rate Card is always open to negotiation, recognizing the unique nature of each project and client. Additionally, it's important to note that editorial fees are subject to the client's fixed rates, and we can discuss how my services align with your specific editorial needs.

CREATIVE FEE STARTING AT : £1500 (excl. VAT)

Includes:

• Photographer's day rate

• Basic lighting and equipment

• Retouching of 3 images

• Editing of 1 x 15 second video

• Hair and Makeup Artists

• Wardrobe Stylist

• PHOTOGRAPHIC ASSISTANT

• Shoot Production

USAGE FEES EXPLAINED

Ensuring transparency and fairness is paramount in our collaboration. By itemizing these usage fees separately for distinct purposes such as websites, printed materials, or ads, I aim to provide you with a tailored and cost-effective solution. This detailed breakdown allows you to pay for specific services, emphasizing the value of our work over time. If you have specific project requirements, I am open to discussing and adjusting fees accordingly. This ensures a clear and professional partnership.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Estimates and Contracts: The acceptance of a proposal constitutes a binding contract.

Grant of Rights: All images, including copyright, remain the exclusive property of simon songhurst, Photographer, unless otherwise specified. Additional usage requires a separate agreement and fee. No rights are granted until full payment is received. Third-party licensing requests should be directed to simon songhurst.

Day of Shoot: Client must send an authorized representative to the shoot. In the absence of a representative, the Photographer's judgement on image/video execution is final.

Fees and Expenses:

• 50% deposit is required prior to shooting.

• Remaining balance of the invoice is due upon completion.

• Fees and expenses listed are for this assignment and agreed uses. Changes require a separate agreement. The Client is responsible for all fees and expenses.

Cancellation:

• 50% of the final fee if canceled less than one week before the shoot.

• 100% of the final fee if canceled after the photographer departs.

• Full fee plus 25% if postponed after the photographer departs.

• Shoot canceled 48 hours prior incurs a full fee charge.

• Incurred expenses are the responsibility of the canceling party.

Terms of Payment: 50% deposit prior to shooting; balance of the invoice is due upon completion. A 1% per month late charge applies thereafter. Any adjustments must be requested within 14 days of the invoice date.

Responsibility: This agreement binds all parties jointly. Amendments require written and signed consent. The invoice reflects and binds Client to oral authorizations for fees and/or expenses.

Indemnity: Client will indemnify Photographer against claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from image use or related materials. Client is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions and releases. Photographer's liability is limited to the total amount paid under this invoice.
